Action is intensifying at Eval4Action. As the campaign moves forward into 2021, Eval4Action is working closely with regions and countries to strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships for evaluation at all levels. We are grateful to Eval4Action partners and wider stakeholders for helping the campaign prioritize its next steps via the Eval4Action 2021 priority survey and the informal dialogue, held on 1 February 2021.
In particular, Eval4Action in 2021 is prioritizing:
Support to the regions in the design and roll-out of the regional action plans for influential evaluation
Establishment of regional communication hubs together with regional stakeholders
Facilitation of cross-sharing among regions
Follow up to the Eval4Action Commitment Drive, through a call for "Walk the Talk" videos, where anyone interested can showcase their action to strengthen influential evaluation
Strengthening outreach of the campaign in the global fora
A brief paper summarizes the outcome of the survey, the informal dialogue and the Eval4Action priorities and plans for 2021. We invite all partners to continue to engage with us in these efforts.
IOCE and Eval4Action are already exploring synergies as the campaign's priorities roll out. Amplifying communication, sharing resources and co-creating platforms to accelerate action for influential evaluation are a few areas we are exploring. Next month we will share more details on how you can engage in these priority areas and the follow-up to the Eval4Action Commitment Drive. Stay tuned for some exciting news!
We are also pleased to share the latest #Eval4Action blog by Thomas Archibald, Associate Professor at Virginia Tech, on critical and evaluative thinking for transformative evaluation.
