How can I join the Commitment Drive?

To join the commitment drive, post a video on Twitter and on your other social channels, between 19 and 23 October 2020, stating your public commitment to influential evaluation. Videos should be very short – 1 to 2 minute.
You can make an institutional commitment (featuring one or more speakers in the video) and/or an individual commitment. Commitments can also be made with other regional and national partners.

If your region has developed a Regional Evaluation Action Plan emerging from the Eval4Action regional consultations, a consolidated regional commitment aligned to the plan can also be made, or specific personal or institutional commitment as part of the broader regional commitment. Preferably and as much as possible, make a detailed commitment, outlining actions you would take to implement your commitment.

In the post accompanying the video, use the hashtag #Eval4Action and tag three colleagues or institutions to join the commitment drive. For e.g.
I commit to strengthening partnership & collective action to advocate for use of evaluation in public policies.
I commit to action for influential evaluation.
@asela_srilanka, @SLEvA_Official, @Eval_Youth - Now it is your turn! #Eval4Action
In addition to the video, you can also share your commitment on social channels using the commitment drive graphic cards.

Social media assets for the commitment drive are available here.
Where will it take place?
The #Eval4Action commitment drive will take place primarily on Twitter. However, a public commitment to evaluation can be posted on any social channel.

Why is Eval4Action undertaking a Commitment Drive?
Public declaration of commitments to action by Eval4Action partners and beyond, will pave the way for stronger national and regional advocacy for evaluation capacities and policies. It will enhance cooperation among partners, and further promote the use of evaluations in Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) and in national and local decision-making, accelerating the implementation of SDGs.
What is the #Eval4Action Commitment Drive?
The #Eval4Action commitment drive is a global call for institutional and individual commitments to action for influential evaluation. The commitment drive is open to everyone, everywhere.

The commitment drive amplifies Phase 3 of the Eval4Action campaign that seeks to intensify evaluation advocacy at national, regional and global levels.
