Privacy Policy

Eval4Action is committed to ensure your privacy. This privacy policy is written to be understood by all users in order to be fully transparent about our use of data. Below we outline the type of personal data we collect and what we do with this data.

1. Google and Wix Analytics

We use Google and Wix Analytics to track visitors on this site. Google and Wix Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. The information collected may be analyzed to help us understand what information is being accessed on the site so we can continue to improve our site content and build a site that is of the most interest to you. We do not sell any data to Third Parties.

2. Sign up form and email marketing

Our site includes a ‘Get updates’ form embedded from the Wix email marketing platform (part of Ascend suite by Wix), which we use to collect full names, organization’s name and email addresses. This information is used to send updates to you by email newsletters on Eval4Action’s progress, latest news and events. These e-mails are for information of users only, and not for Third Party marketing. By filling out and submitting the ‘Get updates’ form, you simultaneously agree to subscribe to our campaign emails.  If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the newsletter. The email marketing programme Ascend, tracks email statistics (rates of emails opened, including by which device, click rates, bounce rates and spam complaints), email recipients (email address, names and dates), and social statistics (views and clicks).

3. Embedded map

We use Datawrapper to embed an events tracker map on our site. For this service, Datawrapper uses a self-developed, self-hosted tracking system with cookies. This technology only collects technical data (necessary for the correct functioning of the service offered to a user) to learn about global traffic and usage. It does not collect IP addresses of users. For more information, read Datawrappers’ privacy policy.

4. Links to other websites

Our site contains links that redirects visitors to other websites. If you click on these links, Eval4Action is not responsible for your data and privacy protection. Visiting those websites is not governed by this privacy policy agreement. Make sure to read the privacy policy documentation of the website you go to from our website.

5. Social features

We allow our users to share the Eval4Action blog and latest articles on a variety of social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. These social media plug-ins are not managed by Eval4Action, but by the social media platforms indicated by their respective logos. We have no control over the type and extent of data collected, data processes, the purpose, storage, or deletion of data collected by the social media plug-in provider. Therefore, when a user clicks on these sharing links, any concern about their data privacy should be addressed with these services.

6. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect and how we use it.

You can reach us at contact@eval4action.org if you have a question about your privacy on our website.
